The Clinton Rural Fire District would like to invite all community members to an Open House on Saturday May 17th from 11a-2p at the fire hall, 20300 US Highway 10 East.

Another awesome two weeks of Skate Camp happened in April/May this year! I didn’t get any pictures of the first week, but here’s a couple from the ones I took on the second week!

What a great success! Twelve total kids from Clinton Elementary School were able to participate in three days of skateboarding basics.

The ASP skate camp will be run with Missoula City Parks and Recreation department, and available only to currently enrolled Clinton Elementary students in 2nd-8th grade. The Skate Camp will be offered for two three day sessions of about 13 students in March, on the 6th-8th and the 13th-15th with afternoon times matching the Clinton ASP times. The Skate Camp is being offered as a program outside of ASP, and is being funded through donations/sponsorship secured by the efforts of the Clinton Community Park Working Group (Thank you Jane!)

While we’ve been very quiet on social media and the web site here, the Park Working Group has been busy over winter! Today it is lazily snowing outside as I write this. The Park Working Group has been keeping regular monthly meetings with Missoula County PTOL all winter, and we’re all excited for Spring and Summer!

Randy, Donna, Jackson, and Mike finished the last bits of laying out some erosion control mats on top of the hydroseed next to the park in the last couple of days.

Our 2023 Community Fair held on July 16th was a success! We had approximately 300 attendees that came out to check out our vendors, several different outreach organizations, live music, lawn games, and food!

Today we managed to complete booking of sound, and three live acts for the Clinton Community Fair (2023!) on July 16th! – We’ll have Outlaws and Lawmen, The Mighty Travis (Travis Yost), and Tom Catmull playing for us!
